Rescue Response Gear’s Semi Annual Photo-Shoot Winners Announced

RRG would like to thank everyone who spent time, energy and (any) money, in gathering, taking and submitting their photos. All were amazing. The environments spanned industrial, mountains, structural and even medical. We here at RRG also gained… we had an opportunity to see who are friends are and what they are doing outside of their day jobs (or in some cases… within the scope of their day job).

The photos were viewed many times over by our staff. The criteria for each was based on originality, composition, imagination, content and clarity.

1st Place Greg Sobole
2nd Place Brian Trigg
3rd Place Becky Cordova

Winners will be notified individually.1st_GS

Again, thank you all for your visits and submissions. The next Rescue Response Gear Photo Shoot Out will commence early next year (2010) and will run through the end of spring.

Rescue Response Gear’s Semi Annual Photo Shoot Out

Rescue Response Gear is needing some amazing images.  They can be done during training or an actual rescue.  Composition and clarity of action are of prime importance.  There are some amazing craftsmen out there and some incredible stories needing to be told.  The prize for 1st place is a $50 gift certificate, 2nd place is a $25 gift certificate and 3rd place is a $15 gift certificate.  You can post/share them to this Rescue Response Gear Facebook Group or on this Rescue Response Gear Flickr Group. Deadline is October 31st. Winners will be announced sometime in November (before Thanksgiving).

Consider rescue, rigging or access… anything from, high-rise, structural, high-line, track-line, confined-space, swift-water, cave, low-angle, tree, canyons, alpine, sub-alpine, ocean and everything in-between.
