“Strength of a knot is not as important as the quality and skill in which it is tied. Knots do not break in a system that is built within normal safety parameters by skilled technicians. The vast majority of system failures in the vertical realm can be attributed to human error”.
Written by internationally recognized knot and rope rigging expert – Pat “Rhodie” Rhodes – Knots for the Rescue Service is the first book on knots exclusively dedicated to the fire and rescue community. Quality rigging starts with quality knot skills.

Hello, I have the first edition of this, which is pretty decent, although some of the terminology was unfamiliar to me. Has anyone seen this yet, and does it have new material in it?
