The Petzl Vertex Best is for work at height and rescue
Comfortable and durable helmet, meets requirements for working at height.
- Chin strap designed to decrease the risk of the helmet coming off due to impact during a fall (breaking strength of more than 50 daN as required by the EN 12492 mountaineering helmet standard). Polycarbonate shell resists impact and wear (EN 397 and EN 12492 standards).
- Meets all optional requirements of the EN 397 standard: lateral deformation, use at low temperatures (down to - 30 °C), electrical insulation and molten metal
splash.
- Customizable: - side slots for mounting a face shield
and/or standard hearing protection (Peltor, Bilsom, 3M, etc.).
- Shell designed with clearance over the
ears to accomodate hearing protection.
- Integral headlamp clips.
- Simple, complete adjustability: The adjustment wheel allows quick and easy tightening of the headband while
wearing the helmet,even while wearing gloves, and has 2 height positions; chin strap position adjusts forward or backward, position of straps around the ears can be adjusted (rear clip with 2 positions), adjustable chin strap.
- Comfortable: polyester strap suspension, thick foam headband (replaceable). Head band adjustable from 53 to 63 cm.
