The F4 is an auto-locking descent control device. It is designed to be used with either hand and with any size, shape, or weight of firefighter. The rope is easily pre-rigged by threading the rope through the holes for fast deployment. The device allows both easy descent and easy horizontal movement. The auto-locking feature allows firefighters to employ hands-free egress through an opening; then initiate descent by squeezing the release handle. The brake hand controls the speed of descent. $1 of every F4 sale will be donated to National Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
