The Minitraxion also allows the user to climb a rope as with a traditional rope clamp / grab. A valuable and effective tool, which should find its place in all rescue or professional toolkits.
Specs: - Rope diameter: 8 < 13 mm - Weight: 165 g - Individually tested. - Standards: CE EN 567, EN 12278, UIAA
Petzl Pro Traxion
$109.95 P51
Petzl's Pro Traxion is a self-jamming pulley which is specialized for lifting. Its friction coefficient is very low with its 38 mm diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings. An additional return point allows hauling systems to be rigged up for lifting loads up to 8 kN while staying within the limits of use of the pulley. The rope is easy to thread through the Pro Traxion due to a moving side-piece which is unlocked by pressing a button. This allows it to be threaded when it is pre-attached onto an anchor.

$159.95 P67
Without a doubt, this is one of the most versatile knot passing pulleys available. It excels in highline systems with its large main hole that accepts 3 carabiners and two smaller holes for the attachment of tagline/belays. The sheave tread diameter is 3 inches and it turns on two sealed ball bearings, which results in extremely smooth running and eliminates problems of dirt contamination. The pulley comes with pins that can be used to lock off the sheave. A high strength tie-off can then be made by wrapping the rope around the sheave three times and then tying it off at the carabiner.
