BlueWater Safeline NFPA SAFELINE NFPA SafeLine features a 16 carrier polyester sheath braided over twisted nylon core strands. This unique balance of sheath and core produces a rope with exceptional handling characteristics and resistance to abrasion. Designed to elongate, in the event of accidental shock (impact) loading, to absorb energy and reduce risk to the rescuer. The polyester sheath offers a higher melting point as well as better UV and chemical resistance than does nylon. 5/8 and 1/2 inch are certified to NFPA 1983/2001 edition, General Use standards. 7/16 inch is certified to NFPA 1983/2001 edition, Light Use standards. Excellent choice for fire/rescue, high angle rope and technical rescue use.
