The KASK Plasma is a multi-role helmet with innovative comfort and safety features. It is lightweight, compact, comfortable and well ventilated, with 10 air intakes providing efficient cooling and ventilation. It is equipped with a quick and simple headband/size adjustment system with a non-slippery rubberized wheel that is easy to use even while wearing gloves.
The outer shell is made of Polypropylene and is highly shock-resistant. The helmet’s inner shell is made of high-density (HD) Polystyrene and has ducts that allow natural airflow and heat recycling. The Polygiene treated inner padding permanently inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria and provides active protection from unpleasant odor even after frequent wearing.The inner padding consists of two pieces (soft PE Polyethylene headband and disc) that are both removable and washable.
The chinstrap with four fastening points is designed to decrease the risk of helmet loss in case of impact or fall. Its safety release system allows for quick fastening and unfastening of the locking mechanism. Soft Polyethylene side retractors regulate strap length. The helmet is provided with a special red-colored ring on one of the straps for fastening to a harness.
External nylon lamp carrying clips are compatible with all headlamps available on the market. The KASK Plasma is ideal for Search and Rescue teams, mountaineering, rock-climbing, via ferrata, and other outdoor activities. Available in five colors (Blue, Lime and Lavender are available by special order).
Certification: Standard EN 12492 - Mountaineering Equipment - Helmets for Mountaineers. Made in Italy.
WARNING: The KASK Plasma helmet does not meet the requirements of EN 397 or ANSI Z89.1-2009 standards regarding electrical insulation.
