This is the first tree saddle designed expressly for recreational use, combining light weight and comfort unlike any previous tree harness or rock harness. Strong, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric, 4” wide closed-cell foam padding, 5500 lb parachute webbing, a quicksnap hook and three rolled aluminum accessory rings keep the weight down to two pounds. The belt design includes two slots where you can mount bags, buckets or tools. This is a legstrap type saddle with a sliding D on the bridge in front for freedom of movement. The large teardrop legpads make it comfortable to hang in. You can’t slip out of it in any position, even upside down. Every New Tribe Saddle comes complete with a galvanized steel Delta Screw Link as the standard closure hardware, much safer and more reliable than using a carabiner in this critical place.
