Self-braking descender and belay
device for single rope
If handle is released during descent or
lowering operations, the internal cam rotates
to pinch the rope and stops the descent.
The anti-panic feature causes the I’D to lock
onto the rope if the user pulls too hard on
the handle. Safety clip on the swinging side
plate is practical for quick installation of the
rope and passing intermediate anchors (D20
SN only). It also can be used for belaying
and work positioning.
