Knot-passing friction brake. Made of heavy welded aluminum tubing and stainless steel, the TUBA is a useful alternative for lowering heavy loads. Not recommended for rappelling. Made in USA.
Designed for lowering loads over long distances.
The braking power is easily adjusted by varying the number of turns of rope around the device.
Special shape allows the passage of a knot, allowing several ropes to be joined together for long lowers.
