Rigging Lab | The Elite Rope Training Facility of Rescue Response Gear
The Rigging Lab at Rescue Response Gear, a state of the art rope access and rope rescue training facility, was designed with your training experience in mind for the purpose of providing top quality, industry standard training in tandem with elite instructors.
In the Rigging Lab our purpose is to teach the technique as well as the physics behind the technique so as to arm students with a complete understanding of the reason behind the action. Our goal is that you come out of the lab exhibiting a comprehensive knowledge of the spectrum of techniques applicable to your niche, with an understanding of the strengths and limits of those techniques, with the decision making capabilities for quick evaluation in applying relevant techniques to real-life scenarios and with the foundation of knowing the "why" behind it all.
Once out of the lab you'll be equipped for the vertical challenges ahead and sure to come back... guaranteed! Come and rig up.

NEW LOW PRICE   Previously $1,215.00   Now $785.00
Course Dates:   March 26 March 30, 2012
This course covers Horizontal Systems which is any rigging that requires some aspect of highly controlled influence from some other point separate from the original fall line. Usually people associate this with highlines. This course not only addresses that wonderful world of highlines, but we will also give the participant a solid foundation of even more usable techniques such as Dynamic Directionals and Two Rope Systems.
NEW LOW PRICE   Previously $1,100.00   Now $785.00
Course Dates:   April 23 April 27, 2012
This training is congruent to the requirements of NFPA 1006, Level 1 and 2 for Confined Space Technical Rescuer. Included are in depth studies in the many phases of confined space rescuers encompassing scene management, lockout/tagout, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, SCBA/supplied air, portable anchor systems, patent packaging, and entry and extrication.
NEW LOW PRICE   Previously $750.00   Now $375.00
Course Dates:   May 21 May 23, 2012
Rigging skills are highly usable commodities when hunting, fishing, camping or any other activity that requires surviving in the wild. This course will arm the participant with valuable rope skills, including applicable knot craft, rappelling and ascending rope, construction of wilderness anchors, advance (back saving) rigging skills associated with moving heavy objects like stuck vehicles or hauling your big game out of difficult locations.
NEW LOW PRICE   Previously $1,100.00   Now $785.00
Course Dates:   June 18 June 22, 2012
This course is congruent to the requirements of NFPA 1006 for Rope Rescue Technical Rescuer. The participant in this course will receive state-of-the-art training in applied studies of force multipliers, construction of elevated anchor systems over difficult edges, and in the rigging of horizontal systems.
NEW LOW PRICE   Previously $1,150.00   Now $785.00
Course Dates:   July 30 August 3, 2012
The curriculum of this rope technicians skills course is designed to serve the purpose of learning the rigging theory that supports sound and reliable manipulative tripod and quad-pod skills congruent with the requirements of NFPA 1670 and 1006 Technician level, fine tuning back-tying skills and among other advanced skills & knowledge, advancing the practitioners knowledge when rigging high directional anchors for horizontal systems.
Course Dates:   Pending schedule coordination - Jan/Feb 2012 course is full.
This course is designed to give the participant a working base of knowledge in those misunderstood areas of force multipliers and rigging physics that are applicable to modern efficient rope rescue. Included in this course are interactive, hands-on classroom presentations, with the main focus on field application of friction coefficients, tension & compression, fall factors/impact force, and resultant forces.
Course Dates:   Pending schedule coordination - Jan/Feb 2012 course is full.
This course is an advance continuation of Rigging Physics I; in this class we will present more deductive reasoning along with whiteboard analysis. We will also analyze and challenge many traditional rigging gospels such as true belays and the BCCTR Rescue Belay Competence Drop Test.
Course Dates:   Pending schedule coordination - Jan/Feb 2012 course is full.
This is Rigging Physics 1 & 2 combined at additional savings -- 15% off individual course price. The curriculum is designed to give the participant a working base of knowledge in those misunderstood areas of force multipliers and rigging physics that are applicable to modern efficient rope rescue and then progress into the presentation of more deductive reasoning along with whiteboard analysis, analyzing and challenging many traditional rigging gospels such as true belays and the BCCTR Rescue Belay Competence Drop Test.
