Testing by Rigging for Rescue demonstrated several of the strap-based load-release hitches would fuse under high impact loads. Our improved design has significantly decreased this potential problem while maintaining the ease of tying and releasing. D-Ring stitch pattern is similar to our ProSeries Anchor Straps which have a 3 Sigma MBS of 8,039 lbs (36 kN).
