Camming lanyards, such as the Petzl Grillon allow adjustability and hands free work positioning. The Grillon is a 2:1 mechanical advantage to the worker and should always be tied off when work begins. Here the worker is using a prusik hitch and pulley as a back up and ascent capture system.
