Utilizes a highly efficient tear-stitch type webbing to absorb energy by means of a controlled destruction. The two layers of webbing are woven together in a proscribed manner. The current standards specify a test with a cylindrical weight of 220 pounds, a free fall of 6 feet, a deceleration distance of no more than 42 inches, and a maximum fall (including deceleration) of 9.5 feet. The standard calls for a maximum load of 900 lbf. Initial length:9", extended length: 51". Min.Tensile Strength: 5.500 lbf.
