Developed by Reed Thorne, the AZORP kit was designed to add versatility to the Arizona Vortex system by combining two component halves to be used in combination or used separately. Positioned either within the legs or on the exterior of the legs the AZORP kit gives an added bonus of multiple attachment points and added versatility to the Arizona Vortex Systems abilities.
The CMC Ascender utilizes a spring-loaded cam to facilitate progression on life safety rope. Widely used by rescue teams for ascending rope, as an attachment to a litter harness tender line, as a travel restrict rope grab, and other applications where a mechanical ascender provides greater efficiency.
CMC Aztek ProSeries® System is your source to over 100 rigging solutions in one bag and follows the foundations of keeping it simple, clean, and effective. This is a General Use system that offers 50 feet of cord, 12 feet of 5:1 mechanical advantage and a breaking strength of 40 kn (8,992 lbf).
The more compact ‘LT’ version of the AZTEK offers 28 feet of 8 mm AZTEK ProSeries® Cord that can extend the set-of-fours up to 6 feet, providing a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage with a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 36 kN (8,093 lbf). The LT system includes (2) ProTech™ Aluminum Manual-Lock Carabiners w/ removable keeper pin – 31 kN (6,969 lbf) for attaching to the swivel ends.
