For the WorkPro, we developed an entirely new approach to rope construction—one that makes for balanced elongation in the core and sheath so they share the load evenly. This makes the WorkPro stronger than other 11 mm ropes of similar construction while retaining a small but important amount of elongation.
A superior handling rescue rope, New England Ropes KM III static kernmantle rope features composite construction, with the continuous filament polyester sheath braided over a continuous nylon fiber core. Featuring a weight-balanced construction with the sheath and the core each representing half the total weight, KM III is torque-balanced to eliminate any spin during a rappel.
The workhorse of the SafetyPro series, the 11mm offers a smooth tight sheath which allows the rope to run smoothly through gear. A technical work and rescue line, manufactured to meet the EN standards, also passes NFPA standards for light use. This rope is great option for mountain rescue or rope access.
A go-to for heavy-load jobs where handling and gear compatibility are of key importance. With a minimum break strength of nearly 13,000 lb and a tight sheath, the 5/8″ is strong and durable enough to handle all your toughest rigging jobs.
HTP (hyper-tenacity polyester) is a multi-use rescue/rappel rope that resists moisture and has high abrasion resistance.
11.0 mm Static Rope
Maximum strength with low stretch. A multiuse rescue and rappel rope perfect for rope rescue, rope access and efficient ascending/descending. Low-stretch properties and high-moisture resistance allow the 7/16″ to operate consistently in wet and dry conditions. Also available in our BiColor pattern, which provides an added safety measure for arbor climbing SRS systems.
